Safety and Discipline

To enable all children to have fun safely, reasonable behaviour is essential.

The club encourages all members to behave responsibly and to respect both staff and each other.

Children are expected to respond to requests from staff. Repeated disobedience, rudeness and/or persistent anti-social or violent behaviour would disrupt the club for everybody. Consequently, depending on the seriousness of the situation, membership of the club can be suspended or terminated.

Club Policies

Time Out Club holds a full set of policies and procedures. Our policy book is available in the Time Out Club room for you to view, on request.

Safeguarding

Please see the policy below which details how we safeguard the children who are in our care.

Privacy Policy

Your trust in us is imperative, so we have included a link (below) to our Privacy Policy, where we have explained how we handle your personal details.

Complaints Policy

At Time Out Club we aim to work in partnership with parents to deliver a high-quality childcare service for everyone. If for any reason we fall short of this goal, we would like to be informed in order to amend our practices for the future. Please see our complaints policy which details how we respond to any complaints we receive.

Behaviour Policy

Time Out Club uses effective behaviour management strategies to promote the welfare and enjoyment of children attending the Club. Working in partnership with parents, we aim to manage behaviour using clear, consistent and positive strategies. The Club rules are clearly displayed at every session, and are discussed regularly.

Illness and Accident Policy

At Time Out Club, we will deal promptly and effectively with any illnesses or injuries that occur while children are in our care. We take all practical steps to keep staff and children safe from communicable diseases.

If you have any query about any of our procedures, please go to our contact pages to send us a message.

Accidents and Insurance

Any accidents are recorded on our software management system and where necessary parents will be asked to sign a printed copy before departure.

Our adult staff members all hold 12 hour paediatric first aid certificates and have undertaken EpiPen training.

Our club is fully insured.
