Opening hours
Time Out Club is open during Manland Primary School’s Term times.
Breakfast club begins at 7.30 am and children are taken to class at 8:40 am Monday to Friday.
After school club runs from 3.20 pm until 6.20pm Monday to Thursday and until 5.20pm on a Friday.
Breakfast Club
Children arrive from 7.30 am and are offered a continental breakfast.
We offer the children a range of breakfast foods such as scrambled eggs, omelette, crumpets, porridge and juices as well as other cereals and toast. Children are offered the opportunity to play in the Time Out Room following breakfast until school starts.
After School Club
The children in Reception are collected from class by a member of Time Out staff.
They are escorted to the Time Out room by one of the adult members of Time Out staff. Following registration, children are offered a healthy snack.
Children from KS1 and KS2 are collected from their class lines on the playground. Following registration, children are offered a healthy snack
Children can then choose various activities that we have in club including games, Lego, arts and crafts, reading and the opportunity to play outdoors. Time Out is based on the play-work principle of Child Initiated Play.
Tea Time @ Time Out Club
Children who stay for the final hour (after 5.20pm) are offered a light meal, which varies daily.
Items on our menu are pasta with various sauces, soup and sandwiches, savoury rice, pitta pizzas and seasonal variations. We always try to involve the children’s input during menu planning.
All dietary requirements are catered for and all our staff hold Food Hygiene certificates.
