Opening hours and Daily Routine Opening hours Time Out Club is open during Manland Primary School’s Term times. Breakfast club begins at 7.30 am and children are taken to class at 8:30 am Monday to Friday. After school club runs from 3.15 pm until 5.30pm Monday to Thursday. After school club will be closed on a Friday. Please note! Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, breakfast club at Time Out Club is temporarily closed. Children arrive from 7.30 am and are offered a continental breakfast.We involve the children in the food preparation, they are encouraged to pour their own drinks and serve their own food, whilst being closely monitored by the staff, who are on hand to help.We rotate our menu and try to offer the children a range of breakfast foods such as eggs, croissants and smoothies as well as a range of cereals and toast. Children are offered the opportunity to play following breakfast and we always try to get them outside when the weather allows. After school ClubThe children in reception and Key Stage 1 are all collected from class by a member of Time Out staff.They are escorted to the Time Out room by one of the adult members of Time Out Staff. Following registration children are offered a healthy snack.KS2 children.The older children (Key Stage Two) make their own way to the Timeout Room. Following registration children are offered a healthy snackChildren can then choose various activities that we have in club including games, lego, arts and crafts, reading and the opportunity to play outdoors. Time Out is based on the play-work principle of Child Initiated Play. Tea Time @ Time Out ClubPlease note! Tea not offered at present due to Cov-19 changes to our schedule. Children who stay for the final hour (after 5.15pm) are offered a light meal, which varies daily.Items on our menu are pasta with various sauces, soup and sandwiches, pitta pizzas and seasonal variations.
