September 2020

We have been closed since March 2020 due the Corona Virus outbreak and to ensure that we comply with current government guidelines. We have been closely monitoring the situation and working alongside the head and governors of Manland Primary school.

At present it is the intention for the school to re-open in September following the updated guidance which allows the school to extend the bubbles into which the children can be allocated. It is the intention of Manland Primary School to operate a policy which allows all the children safely return to school in strictly year group bubbles.

At present this policy means that Time Out Club will remain closed for the first few weeks of the new term, as the club operates across all years within the school. As we are sure you are aware, policy and procedure are constantly changing at the moment. Consequently, we are intending to review the situation once the term begins at Manland, so we can allow the school to focus on returning the children to education safely.  In the meantime, please rest assured that we are discussing all possible options to re-open the club in whatever way we can, ensuring that we stick to the guidelines to protect the safety and wellbeing of the children, staff and families in our school community.

We know that this is disappointing news and we had hoped that this would not be the case however, we understand the pressure and sheer scale of work that has been put in place by the school to ensure that the children and staff can return safely to school.

We will be in touch very soon with further plans. If you would like to contact us, you can continue to do so via manlandtimeoutclub@gmail.com
